Okay folks, our friend John Brodak is in the hospital with potentially serious problems. I don't have enough details to list everything right now, but would like us to start praying for John right away.
I will list what his needs are as soon as we get the straight skinny on everything, but for now, we can attack this problem early on.

Spoke with Buzz a couple hours ago and this is what we know now.
John has two (2) large cancers around his brain and the cancer in his throat that he has been battling for sometime is back.
The doctors are suggesting steroids to shrink the tumors and possibly radiation to the one's in his head. Buzz in not sure about this treatment so she is seeking wisdom on this.
Above all, as Will has suggested, we need to pray and pray now.
Will will be posting this with the FCM prayer chain too.
I will be talking with Buzz tonight and will keep you updated as I learn more.

I spoke with John Last week and he told me about his throat problem but nothing about his head trouble. Been praying for him quite some time as his health hasn't been the best. This new information is indeed troubling. He has been the best friend any of us Control Line people have ever had and now is not the time to loose him. God be with you and your Doctors John Brodak.

Spoke with Buzz late last night and she said John will have surgery today (Wed.) at 2:00 pm. Surgeon said it should be about a 5 hour operation.To much information to pass on at this time but they will be going into the skull to gain information on whats going wrong there.
Pray also for the doctors and staff.

Prayers go out to John and his family for a speedy recovery.

I would like to suggest to John that his doctors contact the cancer treatment center in Tel Aviv Israel. They are using cryogenics to freeze inoperable tumors, killing them without surgery. Israeli doctors are also using nano-technology to attack certain cancers as well. My 02

Just talked with Buzz ( 9 pm ) and John is in his room and doing fine.
They biopsied what they thought was cancer and determend they were sis ts so they drained them.

Buzz told me to pass on to everyone,"thanks for your prayers". God is good.

Breathing a sigh of relief. Get well soon. I went through something similar recently. They found some enlarged nodes in the lung they didn't like the looks of. They did a Pet scan and said they didn't light up so no cancer. Had me scared though.
