Title: Prather MicroBalloons are they available anywhere?
Post by: Skip Chernoff on February 15, 2019, 03:06:14 PM: I just used up my last tub of 20 year old Prather Microballoons. I like using them for fillets and such mixed with Z Poxy Finishing Resin. I have some of the Top Flight "white "balloons but they're not the same in my opinion.Anyone here know where I might be able to get some? Thanks,PhillySkip

I know not micro balloons glass or phenolic, but I like the ZS stuff as my SuprFill blue( favorite) tends to dry out from non use

Back in the day we used the polyester resins for mixing up the Prather Microballoons or for adhering fiberglass cloth...boy did that stuff stink! My wife would go nuts on me the moment i opened up the can of resin. When I discovered the Zpoxy epoxy resin to mix with the balloons or for adhering the light weight cloth it probably save my marriage! Looking forward to getting the balloons I bought the other day to see if they really are the same as my old stand by. Keep building guys! Cheers PhillySkip
