Title: Powermaster fuels
Post by: Bill Hodges on July 12, 2010, 09:07:42 AM
After hearing that Powermaster fuel was being taken over by Texas Allied Chemicals, I sent an email asking if the GMA blends would be continued. I just got the following email from Tommy Porfirio of TAC.

William,

Thank you for your interest in Powermaster Fuel. We will continue producing GMA fuels for control line applications. We are in the organizing phase of this project and will be producing high quality Powermater fuels as soon as possible.

Thanks again for your interest in Powermaster Fuels.

Sincerely,

Tommy Porfirio
Texas Allied Chemicals

Personally, I am happy to hear that the GMA blends will continue to be available.

Any body up tp the task of contacting them re. a "Bulk Buy" for regional clubs?
We have many flyers here in Florida, CL and RC and a large quantity buy (if price is right) is a godd possibility.

Don't you have enough guys in your area to get an order together and contact the manufacturer??  Go for it.  If this country wasn't so dad blame big we could drive and pick up the fuel.  I did that with Fox Mfg one year before gas went out of sight.  Brought home four cases of fuel that year. H^^

Yes Doc, we do.
I stated same when I referred to the type of flyers we have in the state.
I did it a few years ago, thought it was time for someone else to take up the baton.
we bought 9 or 10 cases tha ttime, stunt fuel only and I know we missed contacting many! :'(
