Lost link to a F/F goldmine.
« on: June 21, 2016, 01:11:48 PM »
I had a loss of "my favourites" in Microsoft. I had a link to a mainly free flight collection of articles and tips. It must have run to several hundred entries. All good stuff too. I used to get lost in this maze of useful information.
The site was US based, anyone got any suggestions as to what the site was called?

Thanks,

Andrew.

Think for yourself !  XXX might win the Nats, be an expert on designing, building, finishing, flying, tuning engines - but you might not wanna take tax advice from him.  Or consider his views on the climate to be fact ...

Might have been free flight web ring. Google that and see what comes up. it's a collection of sites and if yours was a specific site it may be part of the web ring.

Thank you all for some very interesting stuff! none of the sites is the one that I lost. It was nowhere near the professional presentation of the sites you have listed.
The one I lost, had a very simple alphabetical list of topics in black and white. Similar but less professional to the NFFS list of topics. It was perhaps more aimed at the old timer stick and tissue brigade!

Thanks again for some interesting stuff,

Andrew.

The link that Norm provided includes the stuff put up by George White on the now gone Pensacola Free Flight Team. -- PFFT on the list.
It is almost certainly the list that you had. NFFS transferred it to their site when PFFT shut down.

Thanks John and Dan,
John , yet another useful site to book mark! Dan I am pretty sure that you are correct. Looking at some of the topics covered they appear to be the same ones that I remember. I have not checked the lost site for some time, but when you want some F/F info that was my first stop.
The new look had me fooled.

Thanks everyone for your help, it is much appreciated.

I just bookmarked all those.  Thanks.

Here's some I have, but I don't think they are what you are looking for, as little of this is free flight.
