Well it's finally almost done. I just have to break in the engine and I will be ready to fly.

I hope to post more pictures later. I have blue LA .40 that I also want fly it with.

Total weight as shown in the pictures is about 39 ounces.

Nice plane! The one thing that I swear will not work is the Zinger prop. What will work very nicely is the Thunder Tiger Cyclone 11 x 4.5...and it's a great prop for both the B.40 and the .40LA, so you're in luck. The prop in the picture is not the one I'm using.

I have an APC 10.5 X 4.5 but I have to make the holes in the spinner bigger so it will  fit, but I couldn't wait to see what it looked like with the engine on it so I just put that prop on.

I think have heard you say (or type) before that the Thunder Tiger prop was a good prop for this engine and I will try them.

I tried the Cyclone 11x4.5 and loved it.  I think between the APC and Cyclone, it gives you some run flexibility for differing conditions.

Dennis , WOW!!!  Looks great , i am so jealous! Your Twister is so much prettier than mine, i hope it flies great for you! Looking at the pics i did not see any pushrod support, may want to look at that unless i missed it.  Great job!!!

Gorgeous airplane.  If those are carbon rods he will not need a fairlead.  Keep us posted.  Also let us know about the props as I have found out by experience, what works in one area of this great country will not work here in Kansas.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

The zinger 11/5 prop will work just fine and that is what it was neant to run on Steve

For some reason I put a 10 x 5 top flite on my LA .40 and it works great. Kit built Primary force. I set it at 9500 rpm and it gives me the nicest 4 2 4 run. Mostly 4.  I usually run the 11 x 4 top flite or apc but this combo is the cats meow.
