Should the small supplier pack with Styrofoam peanuts or add some packing on the inside?

Hey Fred been in the same situation. A while back I bought a kit from Dane. It was very well packaged by him in the same kind of box. It arrived at my front door looking like a horse shoe. Needless to say the kit was mangled to pieces. If you haven"t opened it, I wouldn't. You might have a chance to recoup what you spent. Don't ask me how I know this. Ed.

Those are free from the post office and the ONLY thing I ever shipped in them were plans.  When I was shipping kits, I bought 5 fold boxes from ULine .   They measure 37" long by 5" wide by 4" high.  I think I had to buy a minimum of 50 but when you are shipping kits that is not bad.

Anyway, I feel your pain and sorry it happened.  I had a customer back a few years ago who got a kit that had a fork lift tire track across it.

What is it it says at the right top there ?

Id be inclined to put a little motion detector activated camera in one to record the fun / culprits .
It appears the postal service employes a few imbaciles .

Fred,
It seems that some postal employees hate those triangular mailers. The priority mail automatically comes with some insurance. It was $50.00 I think it may now be more. You should have the shipper file a claim.
