Awe common guys. Those of us who couldn't go are waiting for the results. Someone post em. We know its a long trip, but hey... its community ya know!

Another disadvantage of grass is there is dirt underneath.  Lots of pesky varmints like to burrow in dirt.  When you happen to set your airplane on or near one of these burrows, this is likely to happen...



I have the results for Intermediate, P-40 and Beginner from Sig.  Advanced and Expert weren't posted by the time I left.

Believe Jim Lee won Expert.

How did it fly? I fly off grass all the time and my landings are still an adventure.

I got to launch Sparky's jet a few times----------the PA 75 in the nose is a serious engine and Bob flew the plane very, very well. His scores would have put him in the top 3 if it weren't for that SIG turf.

I don't know about top 3 but 518 with no landing and no pattern points would have been close.
