Title: Play-by-play
Post by: Tim Wescott on December 05, 2012, 02:02:26 PM
I went flying today.  My bottoms have been getting much better lately -- they're almost always below 10 feet, and sometimes I'll even do a few consecutive maneuvers with all the bottoms at five.

So, one of the RC guys (who I'm trying to tempt into CL) was watching.  I kept hearing these comments at the bottoms of the maneuvers:

"S**t!  S**t!  Holy S**t!!! (etc.)"

You wouldn't beleive how many people are out there that have never seen a control  line plane fly the way we do it.   The plastic jobs don't get them off the ground without help.   Also the people that thought that control line was dead.  I tell them about this site.

When I went inverted with my vector on the reverse wingover at 5ft, I heardy RC friends yell out the same thing. It made me smile from inside the circle!

Low pullouts inverted are when you knock the vertical stabilizer off your Ringmaster. y1 Anything lower qualifies as a crash. LL~
