Title: Plastic/Fiberglass/CF Bellcrank Connections

I've got a nice 4" bellcrank made with "industrial grade" carbon fiber plate that came in a kit. Looks well made with high quality material. It has brass eyelets where the lead outs go and they don't turn.

So, I guess my options are 1) run the cable directly through the eyelets or 2) sleeve the cable with brass tubing horse shoes and run that through the eyelets or 3) take the eyelets out and run the brass tubing horse shoes right on the carbon fiber like I do with plastic bellcranks.

How do you get the most flight time before failure.

All me metalworking acquaintances would say mild steel against brass would be best.  I'm betting that brass against brass wouldn't be too bad.

My understanding is that carbon fiber can be very abrasive, so leaving the eyelets in is probably a good idea.
