Title: Plastic Trainer - 19 Flight Video
Post by: goozgog on April 12, 2015, 04:49:25 PM
For those who followed my Cox PT-19 replica build
down in the 1/2A column , we finally posted a video
of the mayhem on the Balsa Beavers channel @ YouTube.

Original build post

It was a beautiful spring day but a bit windy with 15 mph winds.
You can hear it blowing in the vid.

This particular plane is the 3rd prototype with my most
anemic single by-pass Baby Bee for power.  It was a bit
weak considering the wind.
The second prototype was powered with a twin by-pass
baby Bee and the difference was obvious with it's ability
to stunt.

It's important to say that Naomi is actually a solid flier
but the wind had the best of her today.

Many thanks to our webmaster Doug Blackmore for
assembling this video!

Lots of fun was had by all.

Cheers!

Yep, that takes me back at least 50 years!  It was really a blast back then!
