dear readers,
this is my first time on the forum, after being away from c/l stunt for awhile,
has anybody used" luster coat"? can it be used over plastic coverings? usually i'm
a silk and dope man, but i dont have the time to silk right now, and i want to get out there
an practice!!

Hi Larry, welcome the coolest site on the planet  y1

There are a couple "Lustercoat" topics on the Building techniques forum here. I dont think they address painting over flim exclusivly, but its worth checking out.

I have painted over film with good success in the past after scuffing the area of film to be painted. The paint stuck "OK" for a season. I dont know if Lustercote is tougher than the other stuff I used. You can always try it out on a test piece first.
