Plans for Otto the Gyro (Giro) by Dick Mathis
« on: December 24, 2015, 09:59:04 AM »
So far my search for a full size plan of this CL Gyro has turned up nothing.  If anyone has one or knows where it could be found, I would appreciate it.  I have the PDF of it.

Thank you
Mike

Contact Jim Lee who is a member on here.  He flies one for sport and balloon burst.

Hi Doc and Merry Christmas to you.  I talked to Jim on the phone a couple of days ago and he does not have a full size plan.  Thank you for the reply..

I have the remains of Otto which I need to rebuild the tail feathers and rotor blades.  Everything else is intact but had no clue what airfoil the blades were.  Now I know!

I also have a set of plans laying around somewhere given to me by Bill Darkow.  I believe it was the actual article from the mag.
