plans

I see a bunch of plans on the web. My question is how do you enlarge them to be the size of the plane. Some of the plans ONLY show the wing section in a small diagram rather than the whole wing.Obviously I am very new to this! ~^

Take your drawings to Fedex/ Kinkos. They can size and print it for you.  If there is no scale on the drawing you just need one 'known' dimension to work from, ie, a 2" spinner or wheel size.  Maybe the actual wingspan is known.  With one known number they can scale it for you.  If only half a wing is shown then mark off length and rib locations on each end of a full length leading and trailing edge.  It's really pretty easy once you think it through and start.

Many plans can be downloaded in a PDF or other format. You transfer this to a memory stick and take it to Staples or any other place that can print a large format. Be sure to ask for a black and white print, it is far cheaper than color. Usually 5 or 6 dollars.
