Planes to watch at the NATS
« on: July 10, 2006, 05:19:19 AM »
If you're planning on making the NATS this week, checkout Windy's new 'Testarossa' and Dan Banjocks 'Vista'.  Here's a couple of pics of these airplanes at the Brodak contest.

Here's Dan's 'Vista'.  This is one of the most original designs I've seen; very much the 'Thomson Trophy Racer' look.

Dan's plane definately has a "throwback" look.

I heard that Windy was in the front row. That's very cool.

The Vista is WAY cool, is it an original design?
Windy's Testarossa is done beautifully I'm sure, but planes shouldn't look like cars. n1

Doesn't look much like a car to me,  only 3 wheels, and none of them are even 15 inchers.  The color is Ferrari red, though.

I heard that Windy had to share the 19 point row with another plane.  No 20 pointers this year.  Also both planes have to be seen in person to see how gorgeous they are.   DOC Holliday
