Hi Bob:
I have been told that gasoline works very well for cleaning Diesel powered airplanes. I will try it in the Spring.
Stay well,
Frank

Bob, I'm glad to hear that your planes are now lasting long enough that you need to clean them! %^@

Bill,
What puzzles me is when did Bob start to insist on flying (or storing, for that matter) clean airplanes? I think he has been hanging around stunt guys too long, maybe?

PS--Big Mike had me out helping test fly his Eff2See-N last weekend. The little junior was a bugger to start when it was cold, and it only took 5 minutes to cool down too much after some laps. So lots of sloppy fuel-ups and flippy-flippy. When I got home, I tried to remember Bob's favorite diesel detergent, but I didn't have any. So I used scissors to get the stains out. Problem was, after I cut out all the places that looked oily, all I had left was one shirt collar and two pants cuffs....

Are you saying Bob's airplanes aren't nice enough to display? >:D
Dave H: I didn't know you could cut an F2CN with scissors!
Be it known to all, I admire Bob Whitney's modelling accomplishments and am proud to call him my friend. :)
