To help keep some club activity going through the long Minnesota winters the Piston Poppers started having "Winter Building Sessions" a few years ago. It's normally held from 10:00am until about 3 or 4:00-ish on the first Sunday of each January February and March. Yesterday was our first session for the new year.
Activities included Rachel Sandberg getting started in on her new Blackhawk Models Baby Ringmaster and dad Keith began work his 1/2A Stunt Rocket, also from Blackhawk. On Keith's Stunt Rocket he began with framing up the wing first, using his new (patent pending) "Laser Level" wing jig, as seen in the photos. This High-Tech device is a remarkably simple tool to use, you simply start with taping a main spar securely to the "Laser Level" and then take off with the assembly from there! :##
Ivars got his wing framed up for a scratchbuilt all balsa Skyray, intended as a "World Beater" for our club Fargo Racing follies.
Tony Kubes made some progress on a wing for his new Ringmaster.
Jeff Lange and Bob Cheney teamed up on a Super Clown wing.
Here's some pics...

I'm glad you guys made into the building, I heard that Tony called me looking for info on keys.
