Hey all:
I am looking for color photos of Windy's Mig Sweeper. The March 1987 Model Aviation article photos are black and white and not all that good. Any close-ups of the cockpit or nose area? How about the faux exhaust behind the wing?
thanks!

Scott is that the one hanging in the factory?

?? Factory ?? I don't even know if it is still in existance. But I am hoping someone has some color photos of it.

Scott,
Maybe Rich Peabody can get some from Windy, PM him.

Look here in StuntHanger: https://stunthanger.com/smf/open-forum/does-anyone-know-where-this-plane-is-sweeper-900/
And here is a picture I found.

Thanks Tom, but that's the Sweeper and not the Mig Sweeper. Mig Sweeper is big like the sweeper, but has a very different fuselage. That's why I am interested in close-ups of the nose and cockpit area and also how he did the "exhausts" behind the wing.

I restored that plane many years ago.
It was a real mess when I got it - filthy, tires rotted, engine seized, etc.
I brought it to flying condition and we flew it at the Philly Flyer's field and at Brodak's.
As I recall, it weighed around 100 ounces and was powered by an OS 60.
It flew quite well.
The first photo is the plane on the kitchen wall - check out the Nobler for comparison.
Second photo is the cockpit.
The plane is now hanging in the Brodak manufacturing center, right above John Parker's work area.

The photo of the Red MiG sweeper is a Bij Jim 900 BJ. windy stylized into a Mig look
900 square inches with 4-3/4” root flaps.
The flaps moved 2/3rd to 1 Elev 76” span

That's it!! Thanks Joe and Jose!
I think I've got a cockpit close-up coming to me, but if anyone else has close-ups, please post!
Thanks!

I have additional photos but I’m traveling and don’t have access to them
The nose gear was also half of the muffler mount. Interesting engineering

Interesting engineering
Agree!! In one of the Model Aviation photos I can see that the muffler is next to the engine cylinder and exhausts straight down next to the head of the engine.

SOMEONE was after his F-16 details . The LAST video , or near , Has a bit of a sesion on that . Tho only holding it from a few angles . think it gets the nose . If the F-16 mans looking .
