Well, I got the Bi-Slob ARF completed today. I was reluctant to post any pictures because if you have seen one you have seen em all. Not much chance for originality here. I did make the fuel tank and extend the soft copper tubing over flow all the way out the bottom, which seemed to work out pretty good. I thought that the Brodak ARF was pretty well built and finished and I was surprised at the quality and amount of hardware. Going flyin tomorrow.

It looks great to me.  We are going to have to get together with the Slobs.  Maybe at Topeka with Jim & Melvin.  Had mine hanging for at least 15 seconds the other night.  Seemed like an eternity.  They are a blast and maybe it will help me hang my carrier.  Later,  DOC Holliday

Yes, I extended it about 5/8 inch using a piece of speedometer cable so it would have a little flex, and a couple of brass sleeves with one end of the sleeve drilled to fit the cable and the other half drilled to fit the needle valve. Everything silver soldered together.

That sounds like a good idea.  Four of us flew for 4 or 5 hours this afternoon. It was a little windy so I didn't try the Bi-Slob. Had a lot of fun with the Flite Streak and Tomahawk anyway.

I have discovered my Bi SLob loves the wind! The more the wind there is the more fun it is to fly. I let the slob sit until the wind has grounded all of the other planes, and then when everyone is getting ready to leave I start up the Bi Slob and fly. I had a good hang last Sat and the engine quit. let it fall out the bottom and recovered into a perfect landing.

I must say Slobbing is fun . One thing you can do is take some 1/4 square balsa and put it on both sides of the rudder. I get mine to hang then work the elevator back and forth and it slowly falls to the groung and lands then rolls to a take off again.   Jet Bill
