Pictures of 1/2 A Day at New Orleans Field.

Moderator feel free to move to the 1/2 A section if you think it will draw more interest there... thanks

I wanted to post some pictures of some really neat looking 1/2 A models we had at the field this Sunday.  The warbirds are designed and built by Mike Kotteman.  The young man is the son of one of our members James McKinney.  The plane you see him flying was homade out of a sheet of blue foam board like you buy at Lowes or Home depot.  I believe the stick fuselage was a piece of carbon fiber but not sure.   The X Wing Fighter from Star Wars flys really well.. it is a pusher.   Anyway here are some pictures.

More.  The different noses for the bomber are held on with earth magnets.  He can change them out to change the style.

I like them, very ingenious young man.   Need some construction details.
