Can anyone identify this old engine?

Can't remember if I posted a picture of this oldie before but someone gave it to me years ago.
It's new, never mounted or run.
Anyhow, I was thinking of powering the Shaper with it.
Anyone know what it is?
Size?
Does it make any power?
Any info on it?
Hopefully, there's some old timers out there who can help!

Hi Bob,

It looks a lot like a 1941 Jim Brown Thermite .49. The timer looks a little different.

You got me!  But the timer looks a lot like a Madewell or Vivell type.

I have absolutely no experience or any knowledge of older ignition engines... but always curious

The first plane I helped Dad with 1959 (age 4) was McCoy ignition version

When I saw Bob Z ask I sort of figured Dee or Floyd would have the answer

After Dee responded I bet myself Floyd would know

Great responses, Guys - thanks for the info.
I will run the engine in and see what kind of power it makes.
I have a number of engine to try on the Shaper.
O&R 29, Orwick 29, Mohawk 29, Thermite 49, K&B 29 and a Bullet, all spark, all new.
They will be run on gasoline/castor/synthetic so I can use a relatively small tank - maybe 1 1/2 ounces.

My ignition system will be standard: three AAA cells, Z-coil, AC plug, points and condenser.

I'll report progress.
Suggestions always welcome.
