Title: Picture of Brodak prototype electric
Post by: frank carlisle on April 09, 2006, 07:32:24 AM
I got to get loaded up for a flying session today at the RCCD club circle and am running a little behind schedule.
I tried to post this picture here last night but the folder was full. I hope it goes this time. If not I will redial later.
The plane is an ARF Super Clown. Outrunner motor. More info later.

If you don't go to church this morning at least call someone and meet them at the circle.
NOTE----picture still will not upload. I'll try later..........

So now I can get this picture posted. I have a very faulty memory so the info I relay here could be very wrong. BUT...........Mike Palko posted the component info about a month or so ago, I couldn't find the post. As I recall the motor is a 22 series AXI, The ESC is a Pheonix 25, and the battery is a 4100 mah Poly-Quest. PLEASE ....don't take this as gospel.

I spent a few hours at the Brodak booth at the Toledo Show this past weekend and got to see the electric Super Clown run a couple times. It's plenty powerful and John said it flew pretty fast for his taste.

I still say John Brodak looks like Lute Olson, though I don't think Lute ever actually smiles.
