Usually when I click on a photo it enlarges quickly but occasionally it takes a few seconds. I figure it's just the internet working a little slow at times.

Mouse could be worn? Have you been clicking excessively? Now, be honest..

( I've noticed the same effect, Gil. I think I'm losing my touch on the LMB (left mouse button). )

I think it means the Moon Brothers have clicked on the same photo at the same time and they are
getting priority over me on the internets. ;->

The real answer is the photos were uploaded small enough that the forum software didn't feel the need to display a small picture. It displayed the picture full size so clicking on it won't do anything because it's already as big as it gets.

I don't see what's so hard about uploading good pictures.. Find a photo editing program you like and learn how to use it. Resize and/or crop your photos to 640X480 and they will likely be withen the 100K limit.. If the file size is still too big learn how to save a JPG file with more compresion.

You only really need to learn how to do 4 operations in your photo editing program.. Open, Resize, Crop and Save As.. How hard can it be...

My teenagers couldn't set the clock on a VCR, but they can sure rework and upload pics, create webpages, make PowerPoint presentations, and text while eating / talking/whatever. They can also program the TiVo to record every episode of every stupid show you never wanted to see, and fast forward at 3x speed to stop within 10 secs of the end of a commercial.

It amazes me.

Try this. Right now. Hold down the CTRL key and roll your mouse wheel.
It works for looking at photos as well.

CTRL-0 restores it.

Now, please forward $1 to me, for teachin' you; I have to charge..

I *can* set the time on a VCR. It makes perfect sense to me.
But, then again, I invented it.

(Or was it the reverse blinking cursor?)

I was having this problem last night, and I found that if I right clicked on the picture, than clicked on the top option ("view link") on the pop-up menu, the picture would instantly load at full size. Send me the $1!   8) Steve
