The 2 of us had a total of 27 flights. Actually there were 4 that started yesterday, but they only had 4 flights between them before having to leave. Today Dave Miller and I put in the rest late yesterday and the rest today. Perfect weather! Lots of wonderful sharing and laughter!

I made no flights though I wanted to. Saturday I had to put my dog Luke down and that pretty much ended any ambition for other things.

Randy,
Sorry to hear this.  Never a good time to do it, but most likely the humane thing to be done.  For what it is worth there was wind, rain, hail and more wind on both days.  Next year will be better.

Sad for ya Randy...my dogs and horses are like my children. I had to put a horse down recently, and it still haunts me. I don't know if it gets a lot better as time goes by, but I know; if you get a puppy, he'll help you get through it.

Randy, sorry to hear of your dog's passing away. Hope you find a suitable dog soon to fill the void. Pets are wonderful. I've made friends with a couple farmer's dogs on my bicycle path along several homesteads. They'll be barking at me, I just treat them like children, call to them, they quiet down and come up to me, want to be petted. They are just like little folk.

Yesterday I put in 10 flights for the Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon on my Ringmaster Jr. That's 10 for Clovis, New Mexico.  #^

Randy I feel your pain even though I don't the age of your best friend.   I had to get the wife to hold my little Teddy(male tea cup Chihuahua) so I could hit the road.  Didn't want to leave Melvin flying by his self on Sunday.  He was having a slight seizure and just needs to be held and talked to.  Don't want to put him to sleep as he is so active and I think he just stresses his self out.  Any way back on the path,  Melvin helped me get 22 flights.   He is going to send the results to the Ringmaster guru.

Well How about some GOOD news!

Tally as it stands at 3:00 PM (1800 hrs) Central Daylight Savings Time USA

Grand Total Flights
2391

Total Number of Pilots
371

These numbers are new Records!! Czech Republic put us over the top!! There are still outstanding reports to record so I have hopes of achieving the goal of 2500 flights.

If you do not find your participation in these results perhaps your email went to some exotic site. Try again at flyathon2014@yahoo.com

Remember these are Preliminary results so:
