Post by: Randy Cuberly on June 15, 2016, 10:30:37 PM: No one has ever kitted this Vulcan to my knowledge. Bill W. won VCS Classic with this one several times. Different engines at different times I think but it had an Aerotiger in it when I saw it.

It was a great flying airplane, at least with Bill on the handle it was!

This is a thread about not controlling the rpm, but the pitch of the prop. It actually works at a constant r.p.m. But the design of the plane is not in the way I would have done it.
After me asking about the forward swept hinge line, someone came up with the article about Bill W.
Both Henk and I don't feel any advantage in fwd swept hinge lines, as you could read in that thread...... 8) ;D

maybe the ARES will sport this pattern, not sure about black, under Brazilian sun, surely will be a challenge to keep the paint from bubbling
