« on: June 07, 2008, 04:23:26 PM »
All I have is a bath room scale so I can not weigh small stuff.

What is the weight of a stock OS muffler for LA .46?

What would a togue muffler weigh?

Thanks

Thanks guys... Going to order me one from Randy!!!!

This should bring me in at around 46oz. On my F-Twister.  Might get a little lighter once I get all the paint off.

I think this will work.

After seeing Ty's weights, I went back and weighed another stock one and it too came in at 2 3/4 oz. I also weighed my Hy-Flo tube muffler from Scott Dinger and it came in at 3/4 oz. which is what he claims.

C'mon guys, you can't afford NOT to have one of these! For weighing mail, balsa sheets, mufflers, wheels, fuel tanks, etc, etc. etc....

Five to ten bucks in a stationery store, (office supplies to you modernists), or an auto parts outfit. (used to be used for weighing carburator floats...)

Clip the item to be weighed to the alligator and hold it by the loop. Read the weight (in ounces up to 4, or grams, up to 80) on the scale...
