I am visiting Phoenix for the next month getting cancer treatment & would like to see control line flying. When & where can I go?

Hi George,

There are some combat and sport flyers that fly at Esteban Park (off Roeser Rd) Sunday mornings.

There are a few stunt flyers that fly at Metro center parking lot on Saturday mornings, but not EVERY week.

ALL flying in Phoenix in the summer is at very early morning hours.

There is CL activity at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson on Sunday mornings

There are a few stunt folks at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson Wed and Fri also

There are almost always a number of Stunt and Sport fliers at Christopher Columbus park in Tucson which is about a hundred miles south of Phoenix on I-10.

As Jim said there are often fliers there during the week (early in the morning in the summer starting at about 6 AM or even earlier), on Tuesday, Wed, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.  Especially Sunday!
