Mustang page 2

I'll try to do a photo spread on Ray Firkin's super neat Sting Ray, if he'll allow it.

Very, Very nice. This is the type of model, and level of building, of which I wish I were capable. For the foreseeable future, I'll have to continue pretending. Absolutely beautiful model, one to be very proud of. y1

Thanks for thinking of us John! H^^

Thanks, John. For those of us that can't be there this year, this is really terrific.

Al has to be happy to see such a fine example of a P51..

It may be too nice to stunt with. ;->

Fabulous model and craftsmanship.

Top Flite (Great Planes) markets nice cockpit kits for P-51 and Spitfire. They are sized for 1/5 scale, so they may have to be cut down a bit for planes smaller than 60" wingspan.  I'm putting one into my Spitfire (62" W.S.)

Got to watch this Mustang fly as he was one position ahead of me on circle 2.   Truly great flight except for botched landing.  Three point landing with nose being the third point.  He claimed it was a hole in the tarmac.  Got a decent flight again on my P-39.  Easy start and no over run this year.  I am happy.  By the way did I say this is one gorgeous Rabe Mustang.   It is even better in person, the pictures don't do it justice.   H^^
