Anyone going to the Swap Meet in Perry GA next weekend? Samuel and I will be there. I'm hoping it's as good as the Toledo show.

Mike, after Katrina hit here in 2005, we moved to Byron, Ga and I joined GAMA, the club that sponsors the Perry show.  I worked the show up until 2011 when we moved back home to New Orleans.  The years I worked the show it was heavily attended.  I remember we always had 1100 - 1200 tables that were sold.  It is RC oriented but there are a lot of items, engines etc. that can be used or control line as well.  We always had a good turnout of control line folks.  I never went to the Toledo show but had any people tell me while working the Perry show that ours was bigger.

Anyway, you will not be disappointed.

My friends were always buying Classic R/C Pattern ships for 15 bucks there in 2010 or so, I was so jealous. The SE guys are really nice people. Enjoyed meeting a bunch of them. Never been...

Even though it was an 800 mile round trip, it was totally worth it. We made some good scores. I will go again.
