Have any of you had trouble finding the Perma Grit Tools either on line or in the hobby shops. Seems like it is getting hard to find anyone who carries the line. I just ordered the hand sanding set but it is coming from Perma-Grit in England...

I believe Micro-Mark is the only place to get them over here. H^^

Thank you Steve. I had a bad experience with them on a band saw a couple of years ago so I am glad I ordered where I did...

You used to see them all over the place but I had to get mine from England more recently. Great tools.

Mike, Can you please post the link that you used? Thanks, Tom

Mike,
You can get most of the line from Aircraft Spruce.

Thanks for the Aircraft Spruce tip Alan...
These things just do not wear out. I have a coarse flat bar I bought years ago and am still using it.. Takes a lot of balsa off in a hurry.

Permagrit tools-absolute must for serious building.

I bought a set at a trade show about 10 years ago. Still using the same ones.

I'll have to check last years vendor list, but I think they usually have a both in the vendor buildings at Oshkosh each year. If I can lay my hands on the bookd when I get home tonight I'll check. If they display there, they must have some kind of distribution in this country.
Type at you later,

Central Hobbies sells them, along with lots of nifty Tettra and MK stuff.

Perma-Grit sanding tools are great and yes, they are made in Great Britain.. http://www.permagrit.com/
There's another company, in Canada, called Dura-Grit. I've used their products too and found them to be just as good as Perma-Grit. http://www.duragrit.com/

Central Hobbies in Billings, Montana has them. They specialize in RC Pattern so they are OK in my book.
