GSCB Stunt Clinic & Classic/OTS fun fly Sunday July 10, 2016

Hi Gang,

Don't forget the GSCB Stunt Clinic & Fun Fly for Classic/OTS on Sunday July 10 at Lincoln Park Field on Two Bridges Rd. in Lincoln Park.

Remember, at the clinic no score sheets.  Instead coaches (not judges) will use pictorial diagrams to assess maneuver shape and size in addition to overall presentation.  Participants will work in clusters of three.  The first pilot in the cluster will have an immediate critique with the coaches after landing.  After two more fliers present their patterns, the first pilot will fly again, hopefully in the same weather conditions, receiving a second critique after landing.  Of course, the second flight is optional.  If pilot is satisfied with feedback on first flight then all is well.  Participants in the Clinic may participate in the Fun-Fly without additional fee. Coaches are Bob Hunt and Jim Dammerell and they will offer some suggestions on static trimming before flying begins.

Certificates through third place will be given to most improved pilots based on how well they followed the guidelines from the critique, not necessarily those who fly the best patterns.

Bring your own drinks and food.
Registration:  Fun-Fly $5.00  Stunt Clinic $10.00.  As noted above clinic participants may participate in Fun-Fly without an additional fee.

The Fun-Fly is strictly that.  Want to observe, show off latest projects, or fly:all are welcome. 

If successful, we will make this an annual event, possibly before Brodak's in the future.
