Perfect Afternoon
« on: September 03, 2006, 05:17:20 PM »
Here is the great Jay Williams helping my son fly his flite streak trainer... I can't even say how good it makes me feel to watch my 4 year old flying, this time, with much less help from Jay.  This was probably his 6th flight  :D

Man I need to lose some weight.  Never in my life was I huffing and puffing after flying. n~
Once I got the little guy to keep arm straight I was able to let go.
Even Dad was doing some new stunts.

We are getting them started young over here in Flint MI.

Hi Jay,

Thank you for helping out the new flyers so much.  It will definitely help to keep C/L going!

Congratulations to the *little* guy!

Maybe we will get Aaron's kids started soon. :)

The name is Ryan, Greg.  I know is says Peter but take my word for it.
Nope he hasn't been to the Buffet yet.  At least not with us guys.
We have a few more new guys coming out as well.  Nice to see them in the air for the first time.  Better if they don't doing any flying 9's.

It does make a person feel great when a youngster starts flying solo without help.  Got another one I am going to have to start on if not two.  Great pictures.    DOC Holliday

The boy, named Harrison, is getting better with each flight.  When we can get the plane to fly slow he is going solo almost the whole flight.  When it goes fast he loses it, but still doing better than I did at four.  Hats off to Dad, Ryan for keeping him at it.

Here is another way to accomplish the same thing without running around. The young man gets to fly without help and huffing and puffing is minimized.
