Airport
« on: November 19, 2012, 05:44:03 AM »
Bet the Albuquercue Airport doesn't look like this anymore.  In lthe few years I have traveled backand for to Tuscon I have seen a few planes landing.   Coming from the east you don't really see the town, highway driving like you can when you come from the west.  Then when head south on 25 it stretches quite a ways.

Just google Plane-A-Day if you get on today.  And if you have never seen the site before, once you get there you can go look at the past pictures he has been posting.

Well heck,  here it is:    www.planeaday.com   .

Last time I flew in/out of Albuquerque, I walked across the ramp to board the plane, just like in the old days.  Otherwise, I don't think the terminal was anything like that in 1970. The Eugene, OR terminal is a neat building...wood! Fly up for NW CL Regionals, tour the terminal and walk to the flying site. Ship models by Greydog.  H^^ Steve
