Who could this be at the World's with the B17 shirt on?
Could this be a Walker B-17 supporter?
did Paul give Dave this shirt?
Could Dave be wanting to join the B17 posse?? :o :o <=
and just when you thought the B17 wouldn't be back?

Not only that, it was an entire bomber convention. They had a B-24, a B25, a B29, 36, 50, 52 and even a B-70. The field was barely strong enough to support 'em.

I flew on a B-17 about 4 years ago, it was one of the Collins foundation restoration projects. I was aw stricken with the acceleration rate those 4 nine cylinder engines produced.

With full bomb load they didn't excelarate so fast. But, it had to be an experience to fly in one. H^^

Yes, Dave would be more than welcome to fly the B-17 in competition. He will have to start all the motors by himself though!
It looks like he is campaigning for that honor. He better hit the weights first though.
