PAUL WALKER AND BOB PARKERS IMPACTS Found in old shoebox
« on: March 19, 2009, 04:29:34 PM »
While rootin through some old negs after lunch today... I had to give Paul a call to help me re-goggle-giggle my old demented brain cells about "where and when the  VD~ I took these photos at Aerospace Center.
Shortly after these shots were taken...that dark SKY OPENED UP WITH WIND-RAIN AND LIGHTINING!!! ~^
Thankfully Paul remembered more details pertaining to these shots that I took with my old Minolta SR-2.
First is  Paul Walker's beautiful 1996 World Championships n Sweden IMPACT. Still one of my favorite PAUL WALKER PAINT JOBS...that model really stands out against any background. Be it a bright sunny day...or dark and dank...like this one.
I also found a few other negatives of Bob Parkers TWIN IMPACTS...and even one shot of  "old what'z name"  and thankfully Paul informed me that it was indeed, CHRIS COX!

Donnie,

The who's model is this: Chris Cox. An Impact derivative, as I remember. Mike Conner doing the lauching duties.

How did Bob Parker come up with that color? He was matching Peggy's fingernail polish.

I'd never pick on Peggy. My wife would kill me.

I missed the Boeing site until the Tacoma Narrows became available.   ;D

Donnie,

Maybe both. She and my wife are friends. Not a good idea to get on their bad side.

Correct me if I am wrong please, but,

Isn't the Impact with the Russian text on the right wing the 1998 Nats winner?
