Paul Delgatto's B 25
« on: October 10, 2013, 02:15:32 PM »
I have posted this in the scale forum as well.  I am going to build the Paul Delgatto version of the B25.  I have the plans but have a couple of questions that maybe someone can help me with.  First I cannot find any mention of or a diagram of wing dihedral.  Was this plan drqwn with no dihedral?  The second thing is that the leadouts as shown on the plan, run right through where the fuel tank in the nacelle is located and somehow I need to reroute them,  Any suggestions here from anyone who might have built this model or has the plans?

I appreciate any input from anyone who might have built this model or is familiar with this plan.

Leroy Black flew one of those in Classic at a VSC several years ago.  Did rather well with it, too.  Pair of LA .25s, or maybe .15s?

I have four Byron Barker tuned OS Max 20S engines ready to build for the B-25 and several metal and F.G. cowls also.

Mike
I had that same problem on the C-7A Caribou FAI Scale model I flew several years ago.  I just ran two 1/4 inch brass tubs through the tank and soldered them in place.  The leadouts passed through the tank inside the tubes for three years with no problems.
