After looking at the wing and talking to one of my flying buddy's I changed my mind and cut the sheeting away. Added a cap strip to the low rib and replace the wood. I think I can sand and get the wing ready to cover soon. I also added a weight tip box.
Lead outs are next.
I did have to tape the whole thing together just to see what it looked like. Love them bones.
Still need to cut a dorsal fin and flaps.
Where should I get the controls?

Call Jim Snelson at CLC(Control Line Central), he handles most of Tom Morris' stuff. Tell him what you have and he will fix you up.

That's the guy.... Thanks Doc!!! You Rock.

interesting patch
did you glue the sheeting to the ribs below or just butt joint the sheeting?
-
Hey Wynn,
I cut a small "1/4" strip the shape of the rib and glued it to the ribs. To double them up so to speak, and give the sheeting something to sit on. It spans across 4 ribs and I just doubled the end ribss.
I hope I explained it..?
But I think I know what you are asking. The sheeting is glued to each rib under it. So I have support on the ends, and middle.
See I have learned a few things. <=
Now send me a picture of one of your new planes so I can steal the color scheme! #^
