Passing of Paul Sequira
« on: October 04, 2018, 04:38:59 PM »
Hello all,
I’m sad to report that my father Paul Sequira passed away October 1st. He fought long and hard with lung cancer for 11 years. Dad was a member of the Tampa Bay Line Flyers. He had many friends and loved ones who will miss him greatly. He taught me many important lessons, some of which I smartly chose to heed. He passed his love of this hobby to me. I’m happy he did. I have been blessed to have been his son. This hobby assembles many special people. I’m glad to have many you as friends.
So keep flying and enjoy one another’s friendship and fellowship.

Bill

Sorry to here the sad news. I miss the good times that I had with you and your dad flying. I will never forget when we all competed in Junk Yard Wars there at Brodaks years ago.

Hi Bill,

To you, John and your families, and to Paul's wife Marie, you all have our
deepest sympathy.  Paul was one of the first friends that Rose and I made
when we started coming to Florida in the winter, some 18 years ago.

We flew almost every Sunday with the guys from the Tampa Bay Line Fliers
group.  Paul had a great love for this hobby/sport, and enjoyed many hours
building and flying.  Paul and I also shared a love of Jazz music.

We will certainly miss Paul, but at least we had his friendship for 18 years...
we are thankful for that.

Attached is probably the last photo taken of Paul....this was with the controline
gang at Manatee County Radio Controllers field in Ellenton, FL.  Photo credit to
Jerry Austin, fellow member.  Thanks Jerry.

With best wishes.

Hi Bill and Joanie, So sorry to hear about your Dad, I first met him and you at the Brodak FlyIn many years ago and just knew that you two enjoyed a fine relationship together. I know that you and Joanie visited your parents often in recent years and those visits are treasures which you will cherish along with many other great times together. Sondra and I extend our deepest sympathies to you two as well as your Mom. Our prayers are with you at this tough time.
