I've got a ARF Vector 40 wing and flaps only. I've never made a built up fuselage before so I'm needing that part of the kit or maybe plans. I've thought about just making a profile fuselage that I'm familiar with but, would prefer the kit so I can see how a built up fuselage is made. If it comes to it I guess I could buy a whole kit and copy the fuselage parts but that's a bigger project than I need right now. Anyone want to loan me their Vector kit for a couple of days?

Is there an on line resource that shows the typical construction of a built up fuselage on a modern stunt ship?

Well...that is a very instructive build.  However that is rather complex build for a top competition airplane by a very top competitor.
Might be a little complex and intricate for a first built up model.

While somewhat similar, of course, the construction for the Vector is very much simpler.

Thanks for the link, it gives me some basic info I can use. That build didn't have the LG on the fuselage. I guess it's a couple of formers off the motor mounts to a ply pad to mount the LG? The bottom can be a flat sheet 1/8th, 3/16ths?

Yes it can be a flat sheet mounted to the bottom of the fuselage sides.  1/8 birch aircraft grade plywood is adequate.   The plate should be reinforced with triangular strips at the inside of the fuselage to increase the gluing area, and I would only use epoxy for the joints.
If an aluminum gear is used it can be bolted to the plate with 4-40 screws into blind nuts inserted into the back of the plate.  Three screws are adequate, two near the front of the gear and one centered near the back.   This also makes the gear removable.   Mounting a wire gear that way is a little more complex.
