Pannel lines are done with Ripdeiograph pens. The lines are black. As are these too.

You must use clear over all panel lines if you want them to last any length of time. and with film ink if you want it to last more than a minute.

Thanks for your patience and info! I ordered a pen set and I'm going to try my hand at it with the vector after I paint it. Probably need to practice on something before I give it a go, though...RG

Make sure you use a cork back ruler. That elevates the metal off the surface you are inking.

Thanks. I have a 12 and 24" ss ruler thats cork-backed. Is there a cure time for the ink before you clear cote? How long do you wait before you lay the ruler on fresh ink for the next intersection line without getting a smear? Or is it pretty much instant dry...
