Actually I see absolutely no need for a "paper trail". If a document is emailed, or otherwise electronically transmitted, the "trail" is there.
During my term as a trustee, some real opposition to moving forward with the technology was very evident. Personally, I didn't renew simply because I had to mail a form and just couldn't remember to do it.
Sign up online and pay by Pay Pal or other means. With membership down from its glory days I would suggest making it easier for people to join. Anyway, why charge extra for Pay Pal? The fee is what... $2 or less? Man, if the poor house is that close, something is bad wrong............
