Title: PAMPA Mission Statement
Post by: peabody on October 01, 2008, 05:26:04 AM
I see where the powers that be have decided to research and include a Mission Statement in the by-laws. I applaud this idea (even suggested it in 1999) and wonder what the "Joe Bellcranks" out here think it might be?
I had thought: PAMPA should endeavour to promote and grow control line stunt competition through coordination with the AMA, FAI and local clubs.

I'm sure that there are better wordsmiths.

Rich,

I seem to remember reading that PAMPA was started as a means of communication among the more dedicated stunt flyers. I was not involved back then so perhaps one of the long-time PA flyers will set us straight.

George is right. It was started as an information vehicle.

Shouldn't this be moved to the StuntWhiner, uh, I mean, the PAMPA questions/discussion/BOM/whatever board?

Rich;

Nice first mark on the wall.  There are a lot of people who like to criticize, but few who will say "Here is my idea.  Let's use it as a first reference and adjust from there."

Constructively worded.

And, I think this conversation can occur in an adult manner on this (or any other board) without acrimony.

Well done, Rich.  Well done.
