My fleet for 2014
« on: March 23, 2014, 09:21:49 PM »
Here is a shot of the fleet for this year. I built all four last building season. The QV should be done before end of this month.
Weights are as follows

EV1 54 ounces      Power 2826/12 Cobra
EV2 56 ounces      Power 3515/18 Cobra
QV 58-60 ounces  Power 3515/18 Cobra Not finished yet
MC72 58 ounces.  Power 2826/12 AXI

All with Phoenix Edge lite 50 ESC
FM9 timer
TP 5S 2700 MAH batteries
My first choice airplane is EV2. Even though its 2 ounces heavier it has some design features that are better than the lighter EV1. I will from now on always use bushed horns and the polliwog hinges I make.

I also have a lost foam core coming for a all 1/16 beam wing with molded LE built up TE and cap strips.
The beam will be 2 1/4 aluminum CF sheathed arrow shafts. very light and expensive stuff.
