PAMPA July-August 2012 "Stunt News" is Available for Download

The July-August 2012 PAMPA "Stunt News" is available for download for current PAMPA members.

The May-June 2012 "Stunt News" includes:

- A Champion's Motivation Part III by P. J. Rowland
- Joe Nall Contest Coverage
- Plus District and International Reports, Contest Results, and much more.


To download the July-August 2012 Stunt News, make sure you are logged into the PAMPA Website and go to http://www.control-line.org/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=22

Well I don't knowwhat you guys are doing.  But, I am up on the site and looking at the latest Stunt News with that Derek kid on the cover.  Remember you have to be logged in on the PAMPA site.

I kept getting the same thing, but instead of clicking on Download, I clicked on July/August 2012 Stunt News, and it opened up on a new tab.  It loaded just fine and I saved it to my computer.

To everyone who has had trouble downloading the July-August edition of "Stunt News", please be patient.

I have looked at the system logs.  We are victims of our own success, e.g. the rush the first day overwhelms the plan that we have with our service provider.  

As with any digital product, there is always that fine balance between quality and size.  I try to compress as much as possible, but too much pixelates the fine photography.  I have it compressed about as much as I dare (from 78 megabytes to now 30 megabytes), as anything more really degrades from the quality that you expect and deserve.  I hope that will take enough of a load off the system that we can get through this log jam.  I was just able to download twice, once using Firefox, the other using Google Chrome, and I am at the proverbial end of the internet world.

Give things a day or two to settle out.  I will continue to monitor from my end.  I appreciate everyone's feedback and we will continue to try to make the system more capable of meeting the needs of the PAMPA membership.

OK  I got it to download this time.  Whatever you did Bob, worked.  Who is that handsome DUDE on the front cover.  When I opened up I was screaming "MY EYES...MY EYES...."

I tried the download button several times and got the error notice, then clicked on the Stunt News text and it went through just fine. Probably too much butyrate in the discombobulator.  Steve
