I love this day and age at times. Like today I tried to read an article that was sent to me. Didn't realize my membership had expired. Less than 5 minutes and I was renewed. Thanks guys. H^^

Hey, that reminds me, aren't all of our memberships due this month? Gotta get on that if so. First I gotta find my log on info!!

If you go to the Pampa web site, they will send you a password reset , your sign on is your e mail
They also have section that shows your membership status and renewal date ,
We need to support PAMPA , it is control line stunts SIG for AMA .

Let me interject here.....Chris sent out notice of the latest article he posted (great idea Chris) and all day my phone has been ringing and email coming as guys find out their membership has expired. Here's the deal:
-Awhile back I sat and sent out emails to those whose 'subscriptions' had already expired as of that time to notify them about renewing.
-NOW as of March 31st. MANY others have expired. This was the expiration date used the past two-three years.
-At the Nats PAMPA meeting last year it was announced that we would be entirely on-line going forward.
-There is now only ONE TYPE of membership and ONE PRICE for everyone-$40.00 per year.
-Your membership runs 365 days from whatever date you join/renew-no longer any preset date for everyone. Once you are renewed every year going forward you will receive an automated email from the site asking you to renew a few days before your expiration date. This way we won't have any paper or manual transactions to deal with.
-I had hoped to get the Visa/Mastercard system working by now on the site. There is some technical problem I don't understand getting that completed and Chris asked to let that slide a bit so he could work on some articles and getting the SN library worked on. So for now only the PayPal function works OR I will manually process your check made out to PAMPA if you send it to me. Please include your email address or I can't get you functional. That's what the website understands.
-I'd like to sort of try to change the thinking a little about 'buying a subscription' to rather renewing your membership. The website doesn't publish an online magazine. Info, articles, contest info and the library is/are updated as material is collected and prepared and not according to a publishing date.

What's the current membership total?

I haven't actually looked at it but (including those who just expired) just over 400. There are quite a few who were very recently expired and weren't notified -maybe 280-300. Some of the renewal notice issue is/was so many of the listed emails are no good and can't be contacted.

Thanks to this thread I found out my membership had expired as well so I renewed. The site is still missing all of the archives and pictures from the old site but....the site is not PAMPA, we are. Crazy but my renewal for last year was still processing!
What I like to do from time to time is read the old Stunt News. Helps "Fact Check" my aging memory of events. Hopefully some one will have all of those old newsletters that can be scanned into the archives.

I believe that is one of the things Chris Rudd is working on. Some one donated a complete collection for that purpose. Got to be a tedious job, and wish there was some way I could help out. I didn't join at the beginning, but have acquired a lot of the early ones. I need to go through the new ones and get the whole batch organized and cataloged. One of the things I'm planning on doing during this down time.
