Good Afternoon All,
Need some suggestions I where I can procure painted pilot busts that will fit in a Nobler size cockpit. Well actually, its a Chizler Cockpit. I have a couple in built models I have but for the life of me, I can find any record of where I got them. I've looked at the E flite and other RC suppliers but can't find one that I like. Any suggestions?
Regards,.

Hi David,
David Banks in England does custom pilots. Most any scale, at least he has done from 1/20 to 1/9 scale for me. Any air force and I am sure he does civilian pilots in different styles.

It has been a year or so since he did any work for me. I hope he is still doing these things. It would be worthwhile to contact him for availability and prices.
So, you are building a Chizler. I am about ready for color for my sixth one. I think it is one of the better Classic designs.

Thanks Keith. I'll send David and email regarding availability etc. Yes, I'm building a Chizler. Power will be an Aero Tiger 36.

I think it was Don Typond (???) that did a great article on painting the Williams Brothers pilot figures that was in Flying Models magazine back in the 70's or 80's I think. I am far from an artist with a paint brush, but followed hi instructions and was quite pleased with the results on a couple I have done over the years. Both models bit the dust but the figures survived to fly in other cockpits. I'll bet Keith has that article in his three ring binder collection!!
Type at you later,

This site has some excellent figures of different sizes. They are replacements for RC models.

You can purchase unpainted pilot busts in a good number of scales. Testers in jars? Many colors to wet anyone's fancy. Brushes unlimited.
Give it a shot, you might find out you have the ability to do this by yourself.
