Control line flying - in Texas
« on: May 08, 2019, 03:59:27 PM »
I was wondering if there was any active control line flying activity / flying sites in or around the San Angelo / Abilene TX area? Looks like I'll be there (work-related) for around 10 days at the end of July. I'll drive there with a couple of planes if it's promising. Otherwise, I'll just take the airlines and not bring a plane with me at all. Thanks in advance.

There's an active club and a nice field in Dallas. (dmaa-1902.org) Granted, that may be farther away than you want, but we'd love to have you join us.

H^^ Thanks for the invite, Bill. I'd love to get out to your facility in Dallas, but it might be a bit far to pull off (8-ish hour round trip), especially on a work-related trip. Perhaps one day I can swing by there - sounds nice.
