Post by: mike londke on August 17, 2016, 12:46:52 PM
Sam and I will be attending, if anyone is interested in banging around some speed limit or 1/2A combat after stunt is finished I'm up for it.

I'll be there Mike and will be looking for you and the World Famous Sam. I don't do any combat though, but will be interested in practice each evening if the weather permits. I should be arriving early afternoon on Friday, will check in at the motel, and then head to the flying field.
   See ya there,

Dan I am bringing some beaters for anyone to fly.  If you want to try I will be more than happy to get in the circle with you and wreck them. I have plenty to get me through this season so it would be fun for me.

We made the trip with the Morris trailer with no troubles. Got to the field around 3:30, and started in on getting some practice. Mark Hughes and I each got in a dozen flights or so, he with his Stiletto 660 and me with my Allen Brickhaus Adams Special, Sakitumi, and Shark .45. Really a good evening of practice, then off to Charlie Reeves house for some food and looking around his neat shop and some really nice models, Got back to the hotel to reshin the tank in the Adams, and now heading for bed. Weather for tomorrow doesn't sound too good, so we'll have to see what we get,
   Type at you later,
