Kenny Stevens won the High Point Championship with his flights in Profile, Classic and Expert.

Kenny also won the Pilot's Choice award.

I knew this was Louis's Bear, but then found out that is Louis in the backgroud in the brown shirt and Zuriel flying his Tutor.

Yep, that is me there in the very distant background.  Can't miss those sexy bowed legs of mine.  Zuriel was doing a flight to check out maintenance he had just performed on his tank.  He ran out of fuel early on that flight and had to land inverted coming out of the overhead eight.  Knocked the rudder off.  He was up soon so he left it off, seemed to fly better without it.

Speaking of running out of fuel.  I ran out of fuel coming out of the clover on my second official during advanced on Sunday.  I pumped my bowed legs up and down as fast as I could to keep the Bear Profile airborne for two more laps.  I lost count of the laps and flew three before Zuriel yelled at me that it was ok to land.  He said I was doing 4.8 second dead stick laps.  Pretty good for a 47 year old man.   Did not get any extra points other than salvaging my pattern points though.  Charlie Reeves did say he was out breath and nearly passed out just from watching me.  He must of really been laughing his a## off to be that out of breath.

Sorry about posting the pictures and messing up your sequence of pictures showing all the winners. Your podium creation looks great. Is there a picture of the Old Time winners (Mike Schmitt is in it and I'd like to include it in our club newsletter)? Thanks again for a great contest .

Do not worry about the posting, my Internet connection is terrible and will go out at any time.  This was happening while you were posting and I love your shots.  We had separate entrants and one of our club members counted licenses from 12 states.  What a lovely turn out.  Thanks to all of you.

I had a GREAT TIME FELLAS! THANKS AGAIN TO THE WHOLE PADUKAH CLUB!. Was a pleasure to meet those of you I had not met before but chatted with from time to time.
Next year I might even bring a real stunt ship.

What do you mean a real stunt ship?  Was it not enough that you kicked all of our tales with a flapless Magician?  And, to add insult to injury, a field repaired Magician that you had broke in two pieces on your first official in Profile!

I really did enjoy meeting you, hope to see at the Memphis Stunt Classic!
