This seems to be one of the main boards for CL PA so, can we get the AMA rules posted here or a link to the rules on the cryptic AMA site? https://www.modelaircraft.org/files/CLPrecisionAerobatics2017-2018.pdf Are the AMA rules up to date and accurate?

The rules are the link you posted - that is the rule book and those are the current rules.

Are the AMA rules up to date and accurate?

Well, more or less by definition, yes.  The rules say "these are the rules", and for AMA competition there is no higher authority.

There have been times when some typographical error crept in, or some section of text ended up being introduced that wasn't the intent of the contest committee -- in which case the rules are changed as fast as possible, and the new edition posted.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Yes, I know. Was hoping it would become a sticky.

Why don't you just down load it into your computer? Then you could put it on a thumb drive and take it to Kinkos or similar shop and print out just the pages you are interested in.  That way you wouldn't have to log onto the site just to check out the rules.
  Type at you later,

While I was a member of the rules board I printed off the rules from the AMA site.   Good reading if you have trouble falling asleep. H^^
