There is a whole world out there. eBay is a world wide auction house. Do you think the guys buying cars on Barrett Jackson auctions make the same dough as your regular working man?
These guys aren't fools at all. They make a lot of money. A million bucks for a car is just what it costs. They go there to get the car, because that is where the car's are.
Just because I can't afford a P-51 Mustang doesn't mean the guys buying them for 2 million dollars are fools. They just have the dough to do it. My friend is into TV show direction, another real estate, they have P-51's (well one sold his and bought a Sabre).
Just think of the income of these auction winners as so high they don't even care how much that Tee Dee costs, they want it because it is just like the one they got on their 12th birthday from mom and dad. For a guy making 50K a month, or so, it isn't an issue. But the good feelings and memory fix is an important issue.
